Appointment Scheduling Options Default Setup- Auto Confirmation, Availability Interval, Scheduling Blackout

As a part of setup you will want to review the following options and customize them per your business and policies. These settings are your organizational settings and not for individual staff member. They apply to both public booking and client portal booking of appointments.

To review and customize go to Settings->Scheduling tab

  • Appointment options - Self-service appointments clients can request through their fons portal or through their public booking page.

  • Day-of Reminders - Automatically send SMS reminders a few hours before appointments

  • Auto-confirm and/or Require Payment at Booking- Automatically confirm appointments requested by clients or turn off for more control over your calendar.

    • Check the box below to also require payment at time of booking request.

  • Future Booking - Limit how far in advance appointments can be booked

  • Availability Intervals - Show availabilities starting on the 15s, 30s, or hours.

  • Scheduling Blackout - Avoid last minute requests by requiring clients to book in advance

NOTE: Scheduling blackout times prevent clients from creating NEW appointments on your calendar - they do NOT prevent clients from registering for group classes or workshops that are already on your calendar.
