Client Notes and Appointment Follow-Up FAQs

Fons has the ability to create client notes and appointment follow-ups. Fons notes and Follow-up uses Markdown language so you can format your text with images, urls, bold and italicized text plus other features.

Client Note FAQs

  • Notes are located under the client overview or you can add under an upcoming appointment (not past appointments)

  • If there are client notes they will show under the client overview and will follow the client in each appointment they are an attendee of.

  • The client cannot see the notes, if you would like them to see a note you can message them, add to an appointment or after the appointment is over create a public follow up

  • Staff members in any role can add notes and only all staff members can see all notes

To create a client note either navigate to the Client's Overview and scroll down to the Notes section and click the pencil to add or navigate to an appointment and expand the client in the attendee section, click on the Client notes pencil, add your note, Save


Lesson / Appointment Follow-ups FAQs - Private and Public

  • Public (only visible to all attendees) and Private (only visible to admin and staff member on the appointment) can be created only after an appointment has ended

  • All attendees confirmed or not can see the public notes

  • Public notes will send a message to all attendees

To create a follow-up just navigate to the past appointment, click the + in the Follow-up section. Scroll down to select Public or Private follow-up, add your note, Save.
