Do Not Charge a client for an appointment

Sometimes there is a need to remove a charge from an appointment for a client. In certain circumstances you can do this prior to the appointment occurring.

If the charge has already been attempted by the system and you are trying to cancel a failed charge from auto-retrying check out this article.

Removing a charge for a client:

  1. Navigate to the appointment

  2. In the Attendees section, click on the caret beside the attendee to expand the section.

  3. Click "do not charge"

  4. Confirm you don't want to charge them by clicking "Do not charge" in the pop-up window.

Things to Note about the "do not charge" feature:

  • If it is a recurring appointment, the "do not charge" change will only apply to this appointment and will not affect the series.

  • If you choose not to charge the system will notify your client via email.

  • If a client has self booked into this lesson and you have your settings set to "auto-confirm" and "require payment at time of booking" you will not see this option...instead you will see "issue refund".
