Cancel / Stop a Failed Charge

Sometimes there is a need to cancel / Stop a charge manually

Stop Collection:

  • Packages - can fail in 2 ways

    • the actual purchase of the package due to something like an expired card, insufficient funds ...etc

    • An appointment that is set to accept a package because the package has a a package balance of 0 so appointment has nothing to deduct from.

  • One-Time charges are not automatic so no need to stop a charge. If you don't need the charge anymore you can Delete it. Delete / Cancel a One-Time Payment



To Cancel / Stop a Charge for

  1. Navigate to Reporting->Payments->Failed Tab or Navigate to the client details->payment tab

  2. Find the failed charge and Expand it - Note: If you cannot find a charge make sure you are on the correct month in the payments tab

  3. Click on the "Stop Collection" icon

4. Click "STOP COLLECTION"
